Connect. Heal. Belong.
All Of You Is Welcome Here
Dana Rourke Counselling and Consulting provides online psychotherapy and counselling services across Ontario, supporting adults navigating struggles associated with trauma (wounding), overwhelming emotions, sexual harm, and relationship and communication challenges to feel more capable, connected, and autonomous (in control).
You might be carrying the weight of strained relationships, disconnection from yourself, or patterns that feel hard to shift no matter how much insight you have. Many of the people I work with are navigating the impact of trauma, including sexual violence, attachment wounds (belonging), or painful relational dynamics, and are longing to feel more grounded, more confident, and more able to connect in meaningful ways.
Together, we focus on strengthening your relationship with yourself and others by deepening emotional awareness, building self-worth, healing trauma, challenging limiting beliefs, and helping you reclaim your voice and sense of power.
Dana Rourke MSW, RSW
Founder and Psychotherapist
Hi! I’m so glad you found your way here.
The space I hold for clients has been developed and fine-tuned over years of sitting with difficult stuff (my own and others’), building trusting relationships when it feels hard, witnessing pain without jumping to fix it, and receiving feedback from people just like you about what they need, want, and desire in therapy and life. I have been told that my warmth, curiosity, insight, and compassion truly invite others into a kinder, more understanding, and less conflictual relationship with themselves and others.
Our wounding happens in relationship - healing does too. The therapeutic relationship is a collaborative space where you can experience and practice doing relationship differently - with yourself, others, and the world - supported with real-time feedback. In this non-judgemental space, where your needs and pace are prioritized, learning and trying new things can feel less daunting. This is the foundation of healing, growth, and change.
